The cat is used to spending days in its own company. It paces its feline paths and sleeps in favorite spots in a home that, although full of signs of human presence, seems to belong only to it… But not for long.
When a mysterious flood engulfs the world known to the cat, the only refuge from the great wave becomes an old wooden boat. Others also find a chance for survival in it – a capybara, a bird, a lemur, and a dog – among whom the cat's nature and independence are put to the test. Drifting through mystical, waterlogged landscapes, the animals collectively confront the terror of the elements and increasingly greater challenges. The dangerous voyage slowly transforms into a symbolic journey, in which each undergoes a transformation of character and discovers new kinds of sensitivity within themselves. By cheering for this extraordinary group, we become part of the crew on their adventure.
