Named by the New York Times as the 'best Carmen in 25 years.' Elīna Garanča has been reigning on opera stages for over twenty years as one of the most distinguished mezzo-sopranos. The concert program is divided into two parts. In the first part – dominated by French opera – we will hear works by C. Saint-Saëns, J. Massenet, and Gounod. In the second part, the climax will be excerpts from Bizet's Carmen.
