BENIGHTED (France) brutal death metal:

When Benighted started, they tried to beautify their animalistic death metal in various ways. Sometimes tremolo techniques from the black metal realm were added to the mix, sometimes more melodic elements from death metal… And while they still have that raw element to this day, for years they have consistently and stubbornly ground out maximally fiery and incredibly brutal death metal. Somehow this meat grinder has not lost its effectiveness in any way, and that’s all the better, because Benighted's intensity still exceeds the scale. The band in no way signals that their best days are behind them. On the contrary – they continue to shift into sixth gear, still jumping from deadly solutions to grinding battles and consistently flaunting those subtle black metal influences. It makes a person feel strong enough to break down walls.

BAEST (Denmark) death metal:

The Danish players from Baest are still among the biggest young stars of death metal and nothing indicates that they will fall from the rising wave. Well, but it’s no wonder, because after all, this is a band that, as one of the few, has found a balance between the European and American schools of the genre. On one hand, they have rawness and plague (here they bow to Swedish patterns), and on the other hand, they can play it all with a high level of technical freedom and a well-polished sound (USA, this is about you!). In this way, they will satisfy anyone who loves death metal in its classic form, regardless of the continent.

COFFIN FEEDER (Belgium) deathcore:

On one hand, Coffin Feeder is the most modern band in this lineup, as they are going 100% along the lines of contemporary deathcore, and on the other hand, they are no crew that just started playing yesterday. The Belgian ensemble includes Sven de Caluwé from Aborted behind the mic, which is a proper guarantee of quality. But what else? Well, sick breakdowns, occasional bursts contrasting with heavy segments, and a bit of metalcore dressed in extremity. It’s hard not to like them.
