Looking at the life of St. Paul, based on the Acts of the Apostles and the letters of the New Testament, as well as approaching the geographical, cultural, and historical context of the times in which the Apostle of Nations operated, we want to learn about his fate, evangelizing activity, but also to reach our task in the community of the Church.
The meeting responds to this year's pastoral theme: 'I participate in the community of the Church.' What did this mean in the times of St. Paul, and what does it mean today, 2000 years later?
The conferences will be an introduction to the history of St. Paul's life, his three apostolic journeys, as well as to the letters that the Apostle wrote to individual communities. We want to meet St. Paul in his relationship with the Savior, seeking our ways to encounter Him in our daily lives.
The retreat will be led by Ms. Barbara Strzałkowska.
Dr. hab. Barbara Strzałkowska DSSH, prof.
