instructions and guidance supporting mindfulness and concentration, using tools appropriate to the method
preparation for meditative sitting
taming and remaining in silence
joint closing and conclusion of the session
✤ The meditation sessions in the series are led alternately by:
Dorota Kobos - based on pranayama (breathing practice) and the sound of singing bowls and Tibetan gongs
Kasia Chustecka - based on the traditions of Theravada Buddhism
Marta Król - in the Mindfulness approach, which is a stress reduction technique based on mindfulness

ABOUT US and OUR MEDITATION SESSIONS:
🌸 DOROTA KOBOS
I am a Master of Arts (Faculty of Graphics and Painting, ASP Łódź) and a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher with over 20 years of experience. In teaching, I focus on inspiring personal discoveries and freeing from limitations, thus developing and supporting a functional and healthy body, emotional balance, clear intellect, and an open heart. Out of love for yoga and belief in the power of an intimate and individualized teaching formula, I created a cozy Home Yoga Studio (since 2016).
During the meditation sessions I lead, I will guide you through:
🪷 breathing practice - pranayama in relaxing supported positions
🪷 pranayama in a seated position with support and without
🪷 preparing for meditative sitting and being in silence
🪷 the session will culminate in a meditation with the sound of singing bowls and Tibetan gongs performed while lying down.
My intention is to inspire you to slow down, settle into the present moment, and deeply relax.
🌸 KASIA CHUSTECKA
I have been practicing B.K.S. Iyengar hatha yoga since 1999, and I have been teaching since 2004. By education, I am a sociologist, and my love for this field has led to my numerous travels around the world. Yoga is a complete path of development for me, providing answers to the most important questions. I practice meditation in the Theravada Buddhism tradition. I am interested in Ayurveda - the ancient Indian medicine.
🪷 During the sessions I lead in the series, we will practice a basic meditation technique called ANAPANA. It is a simple meditation of breath observation, consisting of several stages. This technique was passed down in the teachings of the Buddha, in the Pali suttas. To practice it, one does not need to be a Buddhist. The method is universal, and everyone will benefit from it in the form of calming the mind, increasing self-awareness, and settling into oneself. It is advisable to avoid coffee and other stimulants before practice.
🌸 MARTA KRÓL
I am a cultural anthropologist and a mindfulness teacher. I accompany people in developing mindfulness and compassion. My meetings in HY will introduce the perspective of mindfulness. I will talk about its roots, as well as contemporary research on the impact of meditation on our bodies, minds, and hearts.
Above all, I will invite you to experience, guiding you through:
🪷 body scanning
🪷 breath meditation
🪷 mindfulness practice on thoughts, feelings, and sensory experiences
The intention will be gentle opening to what the present moment brings. Not to climb higher on the rungs of personal or spiritual development, but to become curious about the place we are already in.
We invite you!
