Instructor and Scoutmaster Conference – 'IT PAYS OFF - Economic Education in Scouting'

After the successes of the conferences in 2021, 2022, and 2023, which provided the instructor community with valuable information on economic education, it is time for another edition! In previous years, we addressed topics of honesty, ethics, shaping attitudes, acquiring specific competencies, and challenges related to professional careers. This year's conference, fitting into the Year of Economic Education, will be an excellent opportunity to summarize the current activities and programs of economic education to more effectively reach our charges.

📌 Why is it worth participating?

🔹Summary of current activities:
we will analyze what has already been achieved in the framework of economic education in ZHP, to further develop these activities in daily work with teams.

🔹Inspiration and exchange of experiences: the conference will allow for the exploration of projects implemented by external partners and discussion on tools that successfully operate in ZHP. It is also an opportunity to develop new, better ways of economic education.

🔹Expert knowledge: experienced scientists, instructors, and experts from state institutions will share their knowledge and practice.

📌 What awaits participants? Various workshops will be held as part of the conference, including:

🔹The thought of Janusz Korczak in scouting education
🔹Practical workshops with a craftsman
🔹Economics in 5 minutes
🔹Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a curator-led tour of the temporary exhibition at the Museum of Warsaw Praga.

🔹Instructors who have previously implemented the economic education program in their environments, wishing to summarize their actions and share experiences.
🔹Everyone looking for inspiration and tools to support scouts in acquiring knowledge and skills useful in adult life.
🔹Individuals interested in the topic of economic education in scouting.
