Here is the Warsaw Dance Combo of Jan Młynarski!
There are seven of them. They decided to save beautiful Warsaw songs from oblivion, presenting them in a contemporary sound and arrangements close to the originals. The repertoire of the Warsaw Dance Combo mainly consists of pre-war songs that entertained and moved audiences in revues, dance halls, as well as on the streets and courtyards of the capital over 80 years ago.
The band was born spontaneously, and Jan Emil Młynarski is responsible for its creation. Together with friends, he brought the group to life, guided by love, passion, and a sense of duty towards the tradition in which he was raised. The Warsaw Dance Combo honed its skills by playing in the courtyards of Mokotów, Praga, Śródmieście, and in Warsaw venues. Following the example of musicians from years past, they cultivated their audience and developed an interesting repertoire that resonates with people through their concerts.
The concerts of WCT are a unique encounter with the past, tradition, and a new perspective.

“Neither a street orchestra's cepelia nor urban folklore repackaged in the style of Szwagierkolaski. The songs of old Warsaw can be performed fascinatingly, simply by singing and playing them; it is enough to capture the atmosphere of a pre-war entertainment venue and gather a group of musicians who will beautifully recreate that pub. Jan Emil Młynarski, son of Wojciech, a jazz drummer and leader of various musical escapades, has succeeded in this art” - Bartek Chaciński – Polityka.
