EFST is a training program focused on Emotion-Focused Skills Training for working with parents.
The training provides a comprehensive overview of the theory, practice, and research of the humanistic approach centered on emotions in supporting parents of individuals facing various mental health challenges.
Emotion-Focused Skills Training for working with parents (EFST) conveys an unwavering belief in parents' motivation and their ability to heal the parent-child relationship and assist the child (young person, teenager, or adult) in their struggles. Based on the latest understanding of emotions and human development, the model clearly illustrates the central role of parents in treating and preventing mental health issues within their families.
The EFST training is aimed at clinicians, is practically oriented, and experience-based, meaning that participants acquire specific skills in supporting parents and conducting workshops for parents.
