Our campaign starts every year in September and lasts all year round! Why September? Because it is the month of Childhood Cancer Awareness. There is no specific date for Pajama Day – the event can be held at any time and multiple times.
Last year, thanks to the support of angels like you, we managed to:
- raise over 300,000 PLN for the first International Trauma Work Center Mogwart,
- organize a run in Warsaw, which was attended by several hundred participants running in pajamas in solidarity with children in oncology wards,
- over 700 institutions, including schools, kindergartens, and nurseries, joined the campaign, contributing to increased social awareness regarding health and empathy
- companies like DHL and Endego joined the Pajama Day campaign, showing that a good heart can be found everywhere,
- 32 children had the chance to fulfill their dreams thanks to the Draw an Angel campaign, including a special meeting with the Pope in Rome,
- we held scientific, artistic, and even film workshops in the children's oncology ward at the Children's Health Center,
- we handed out over 500 gifts for Children's Day and Christmas for children in oncology wards and in Children's Homes,
- together with the Civic Initiative Fund Program NOWEFIO, we started the training 'Leaders of Vigilance - School Resources of Trust.' We conducted online trauma therapy sessions for teachers
- and much more!
This year we continue our mission in children's oncology wards and the construction of the first International Trauma Work Center Mogwart.
We need your angelic help to create this unique place together! Join us and awaken the Angel within you!
Every institution that participates in Pajama Day will receive educational materials from us to help carry out the campaign, posters, leaflets for parents, and as a thank you, a beautiful diploma in PDF!
