ENDOCRINOLOGY AND HORMONAL DISBALANCE
The course consists of both theoretical and practical sessions as well as clinical case analysis. The theoretical sessions are based on the latest scientific research in the field of endocrinology.
The training will deepen therapists' knowledge about hormonal physiology and endocrine pathology. The mechanism of communication pathways between hormones, the immune system, and the nervous system will be presented, allowing for understanding and addressing the most common endocrine problems.
Therapists will be able to identify non-pharmacological elements that may cause hormonal imbalance and, consequently, propose a lifestyle that is more supportive of the neuro-immuno-endocrine system, as well as apply local and global therapeutic techniques.
PATHOLOGY OF THE BREAST
In times when many women struggle with hormonal therapy, breast surgery, and oncology, as well as breastfeeding issues, the osteopathic approach must integrate the breast, which is increasingly seen as a standalone structure, back with the whole human body.
This course will enable therapists to master the anatomical, physiological, and hormonal aspects of the mammary gland. Issues and pathologies of the breast will be discussed, and clear, simple, and effective treatment will be demonstrated. Participants can teach patients self-palpation and self-treatment techniques to promote prevention and screening for breast cancer. The techniques learned will also allow for a quick response to breastfeeding problems to assist the mother and newborn.
