'My Heart Says: Live, Scream, Breathe' is a performance about children who have lost trust in adults.
The first act recalls the story of Antigone, who was not afraid to oppose the law established by the king, while the second features thirteen-year-old Artemis, who is labeled as 'the worst girl in the world.'
The first and second acts of the play can be viewed together or independently of each other.
Act 1: My Heart Says: Antigone knows she is right. She also knows that opposing the law established by Creon comes with a harsh punishment. ❤️🩹 However, she wishes to follow the voice of her heart – regardless of the consequences.
Script and direction: Farnaz Arbabi based on the tragedy by Sophocles 'Antigone.'
