For many years, even before Poland joined the #EU, we had the opportunity to get used to thinking about security mainly in the context of threats whose occurrence can be quite easily predicted, and their consequences can be relatively easily removed.
Meanwhile, over the last two decades, new types of dangers have emerged, including: virtual ones, in the field of cybersecurity, personal data security, the security of our savings or our children on the Internet, or physical ones, such as natural disasters, possible energy shortages, or fuel shortages.
During the debate, we will try to answer the questions:
Where do we stand here and now, and to what extent can we feel safe?
Is the European Union itself any guarantee of security for us?
If so, what tools does it have and how are they used to protect citizens?
In the current geopolitical situation of Poland, in such a position of Mazovia, should we focus on further development, or should we redirect resources and dedicate actions to improve the security of citizens?
Participants will include:
🔛 moderator 🏃♀️ Adrianna Śniadowska - CEO of the Center for International Relations
✅ Marcin Kierwiński, Minister – member of the Council of Ministers,
✅ Krzysztof Bondaryk, Director of the Department of Security, Ministry of the Interior and Administration
