Musical about Polish bards? This has never been played before!
Who friendzoned Mickiewicz? What, besides talent, connected Słowacki with Chopin? How many muses in a poet's life is an exaggeration? We will answer all these questions with poetry and song in the original musical performance 'M. vs S.', which - like the famous 'Hamilton' - will present well-known historical figures in an innovative, musical version, and - just like 'SIX' - will give the microphone to women.
The performance tells the story of the lives of Adam Mickiewicz and Juliusz Słowacki from the perspective of the women closest to them: Maryla Wereszczakówna, Salomea Januszewska, and Celina Szymanowska.
Attention: get ready for an epic rap battle of Polish Bards!
A musical by the well-known crime writer, former music and theater producer, Olga Warykowska, directed by Hanna Słyk. The piece is entirely written in verse, with musical compositions by Katarzyna Koseska and rap lyrics by Marcin and Michał Parafiniuk. The choreography was created by Antonina Grupińska and Magdalena Olędzka.
