We invite you to a workshop led by Dominik Trznadel.
The two-day workshops are an introduction to the practice of Yin and Yang Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, MyoYin: myofascial massage, and AcuYin: acupressure in Yin yoga.
During the theoretical and practical classes, students will familiarize themselves with and deepen their knowledge by applying the aforementioned techniques in common yoga poses (asanas).
We will stimulate subtle energy (according to the ancient art of Traditional Chinese Medicine called Qi/Czi/Ki) and modern techniques of fascial stimulation to improve well-being, mobility, sleep quality, reduce tension, and induce a state of deep relaxation.
We encourage participation in all four workshops, regardless of experience and knowledge. Dominik offers a translation of acquired knowledge into direct practice.
October 12 (Saturday)
Welcome Autumn: Yin Yoga in Traditional Chinese Medicine, 9:00 - 12:00
The most popular workshop is an introduction to the Metal element, which relates to autumn according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Recommended for everyone wishing to balance this element both physically and energetically. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), autumn is the time to nourish our lungs, which include the skin organ and are connected to the large intestine. It is a moment to accept what we need and let go of what has been weighing us down in life. Autumn, a transitional period, is a time of self-nourishment, reflection, and a season in which we slow down and contemplate. The autumn season encourages us to discover our inner and introspective energy both on our yoga mats and beyond.
Workshop topics Welcome Autumn:
- Basics of Chinese Medicine, theory and practice
- Energy channels (meridians) corresponding to autumn
- Yoga poses (asanas) corresponding to autumn
- Philosophy and practice
Benefits: During these workshops, we will explore the properties of Metal that allow us to introduce self-reflection, gratitude, abundance, and letting go into our lives. We will use Yin Yoga and Qigong practices to stimulate the lung and large intestine meridians, the organs of Metal, to bring our body and mind into balance with the cycles of nature.

Introduction to AcuYin, 13:00 - 16:00
The workshop will present the most important principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine combined with Yin yoga. Through explanation and stimulation of acupressure points, we will deepen our knowledge of this ancient art. The main topic will be working with metal (in relation to Autumn).
AcuYin is a practice that combines two disciplines: yoga and acupressure. Both techniques aim to balance Qi energy. From the perspective of TCM, stagnation or disturbances in Qi energy lead to disruptions (health, emotional, mental). During yoga, especially Yin yoga, we can positively influence individual energy channels. Stimulation of acupressure points enhances the effects of our work. It is said that there are 361 acupuncture points in the human body, but only some are commonly used in the treatment of diseases and disorders. During this AcuYin session, you will learn how to locate some of the most common acupuncture points for self-healing and connect them with corresponding Yin yoga poses to increase the effectiveness of the techniques.
Workshop topics:
- AcuYin: Theory and Practice
- Localization and stimulation of acupressure points
- Anatomy of yoga postures
- Basics of Chinese Medicine
Benefits: Participate in these unique workshops where you can experience the combined benefits of Yin Yoga and Acupuncture. Combine acupressure techniques and Yin Yoga to strengthen your Qi. Learn how to locate common acupressure points and stimulate them during your Yin practice, taking it to a whole new level.

October 13 (Sunday)
Introduction to MyoYin, 9:00 - 12:00
MyoYin is a combination of myofascial techniques that release major trigger points in the body in conjunction with Yin Yoga poses. Trigger points develop daily in our myofascial tissues due to our lifestyle, unhealthy habits, or poor posture. These trigger points accumulate in the muscles, causing tension and soreness, which in turn leads to chronic discomfort. Learn what Myofascial Release is, how to apply myofascial relaxation techniques using a ball in Yin yoga poses to eliminate trigger points and improve mobility.
MyoYin is a practice that is winning the hearts and bodies of all practitioners. This workshop serves as a bridge between the main principles of the ancient art of yoga (focusing on Yin Yoga) combined with the modern art of self-myofascial release (MFR).
Workshop topics Introduction to MyoYin:
- What is MyoYin myofascial release and Yin Yoga
- Main principles of MFR
- Benefits of combining MFR and Yin Yoga
- Major trigger points
- Localization and stimulation of points
- Practice with balls
Benefits: We will release stress, stimulate the flow of Qi, improve organ health, support the nervous system in finding peace and relaxation, and increase flexibility and range of motion. Improve circulation and flexibility through deep muscle relaxation. Gentle stimulation of connective tissue and fascia will enhance mobility, sleep quality, minimize muscle pain, and allow you to unwind and relax.

Yin-Yang balance, 13:00 - 16:00
During this workshop, we will introduce Taoist concepts of Yin and Yang, combining them in a practice that allows us to observe the differences between the two. Particularly recommended for those who focus solely on one of these energies in their own practice (e.g., proponents of dynamic styles like Vinyasa or Ashtanga, or in a relaxing restorative yoga practice). The workshop will introduce the concept of Yin: feeling and Yang: mental clarity and action.
Workshop topics:
- What is Yin Yang yoga?
- Benefits of Yang (active) and Yin yoga (passive)
- Philosophy of Yin Yang
Benefits: Learn how to reduce tension in both body and mind. The combination of Yin and Yang elements provides a balanced practice and can have a toning effect on energy levels. The practice of Yin Yang yoga stimulates the meridians (energy channels), restoring balance to the organs in the body. During the workshop, you will improve flexibility and mobility of the joints, calm and balance the mind and body.
