The Peña Flamenca TRIANA project features a series of concerts where the audience has the chance to listen to and watch Spanish flamenco artists representing different generations and artistic trends. The focus always remains on traditional flamenco puro, which proves to be an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
For several years, the patron of the project has been the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technologies, so the PJATK auditorium is periodically heated to red by fiery flamenco, and the walls of the building have already heard more than one '¡ole!'.
The star of the 53rd edition of the Peña Flamenca Triana cycle will be the Spanish dancer Fernando Jimenez Torres, who left the audience in absolute awe with his performance during our last May edition. He will come to Warsaw with his stage friends from Seville – dancer María Távora and the already well-known young singer Manuel de Gines.
We are in for a display of dance and musical artistry and an experience of beauty that takes your breath away. Flamenco itself evokes emotions, and in such an outstanding performance, it will surely leave an unforgettable impression. The young artists are bursting with energy, beautifully intertwining traditional flamenco with contemporary trends, alternating folk elements with refined elegance, expressiveness with restraint, joy and passion.

Fernando Jimenez Torres – an outstanding Sevillian dancer, winner of the prestigious El Desplante award at the Cante de las Minas festival in 2017. After completing the dance conservatory, he honed his flamenco dance skills with the best teachers in Seville and began his stage career in dance companies led by the biggest stars such as Mario Maya, Cristina Hoyos, Manuel Betanzos, Fuensanta la Moneta, Rocio Molina, and Eva la Yerbabuena, with whom he performed on the largest stages in Spain and around the world. He also works as a soloist and choreographer, creating his own original dance performances, including the show 'Conmigo...', recently presented at the Flamenco Festival in Jerez de la Frontera.
María Távora is a Sevillian flamenco dancer with iconic beauty and an iconic Sevillian style. She comes from a family of well-known theater creators, and the family tradition dictates the cultivation of Andalusian culture and the celebration of all art forms. María chose flamenco dance as her language of expression and has been performing on stage since she was very young, both in theatrical performances and on typical flamenco stages, namely in peñas and tablaos. With the theater group La Cuadra and the show 'Carmen. Andalusian opera for cornet and drums,' she performed not only in the largest theaters but also in bullfighting arenas throughout Spain and beyond. She is currently associated with the renowned tablao Los Gallos in Seville.
Manuel Gines is an emerging star of flamenco singing. A scholarship holder of the Sevillian talent forge – the Cristina Herren Foundation, he won first prize and the title of 'artista-revelación' in the por alegrias singing competition in 2009 and the Cante Jondo Antonio Mairena competition in 2012. He currently performs regularly on renowned Sevillian stages such as tablao Los Gallos and Palacio Andaluz. Valued by flamenco connoisseurs for his excellent control of voice, rich repertoire referring to the heritage of past masters, and for his excellent sense of rhythm, which allows him to collaborate with the best dancers in Andalusia. Manuel's second great passion after flamenco singing is running. The artist has participated several times in marathons and half-marathons, achieving excellent results.
Arturo El Polaco Muszyński – flamenco guitarist, co-founder of TRIANA, leader of the group LOS PAYOS, initiator and artistic director of the Peña Flamenca TRIANA project. He has been playing flamenco guitar since 1990. He is an outstanding instrumentalist, a master of solo playing, and also of the difficult art of accompanying flamenco singing and dancing. Understanding singing as a source of meaning in flamenco art and dance as a carrier of energy and rhythm allows the guitarist to deeply immerse himself in the 'here and now' and play music that emerges on its own, which somehow 'flows from above'.
Marta Robles is a dancer, choreographer, and dance instructor, founder and head of the Flamenco Dance School TRIANA in Warsaw, soloist, and one of the founders of the group LOS PAYOS. As a 10-year-old girl, she began learning ballroom dance and quickly found herself in a tournament group. At the age of 15, she encountered flamenco dance, which was a revelation for her and almost immediately became her life path. She studied with many well-known dancers in Spain, but she considers El Torombo, who conveyed the essence of flamenco dance to her, to be her most important master, with whom she had the honor of performing in two shows presented at festivals in Germany. Currently, her artistic activity focuses on performances with the group LOS PAYOS and the 'Peña Flamenca TRIANA' project, as well as on collaborations with top ballroom dancers and theaters and television.
