After a few years' break, the Digital Cultures festival returns to the cultural map of Warsaw!!! 🙂
Ahead of us are intense days filled with meetings, conversations, workshops, and the presentation of inspiring projects from Poland and abroad! This year's edition revolves around the theme of Seamless technologies, trying to draw attention to those aspects of our functioning with technology where it becomes invisible, collision-free, almost seamless. Assuming that at the core of the pursuit of technological innovations lie various conveniences, improvements in quality of life, and increased efficiency of available resources, we want to reflect on how, in the creative and reception process, we - participants of digital culture can draw from technology in a way that contributes to improving our well-being. At the same time, being aware that the reverse of the non-invasive nature of technology is the gradual loss of control over how much we want to integrate it into our daily lives and how consciously we manage our privacy, we will discuss design solutions and reception strategies that allow for a more conscious interaction with interfaces.
The program will include discussions on digital hygiene, alternative forms of online participation, sustainable production, immersive exhibitions, and technology-driven art. One of the panels will be co-hosted by AI, and everyone curious about the latest in the XR industry will be able to see a few fresh premieres brought straight from the Venice Film Festival! 🙂
