'F*ck the patriarchy!', which debuted in March this year and enjoyed great interest, returns in a new edition from September. We focus on the themes of fighting against patriarchy, exclusion, and discrimination from a queer and feminist perspective.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- we invite performing individuals with experience in performing arts such as drag, burlesque, dance, singing, conceptual actions, intermedial and others
- the open call is aimed at women, queer, trans individuals, those with disabilities, sex workers and those with experience in sex work, as well as non-white and migrant individuals
- the open call is not directed at cis-men.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
- participation in the September edition of 'F*ck the patriarchy!' together with our team
- a platform for artistic individuals whose creative actions do not fit into the aesthetics of the so-called 'mainstream'
- good stage facilities (Madame Q!) - you can realize cool ideas, play with light, experiment
- the possibility of rehearsal at Madame Q - in addition to a joint rehearsal before the performance itself
- support in the creative process if you want (but we do not curate shows, you have full freedom of action)
DETAILS:
- fee for the performance - 200 PLN net (we are making a show that does not exclude economically, hence the low ticket prices and remuneration at this amount, each of us has this rate for one performance)
- you can apply as a duo, but then you share the fee
- applications are accepted until August 18, 2024, at 11:59 PM
- the results will be announced on August 25, 2024 - we will contact you by email
- the performance will take place on September 26, 2024.

- a description of the planned actions indicating how they fit into our project
- portfolio/IG - if you have it, if not - photos that will show your aesthetic
- a recording of your performance - if you have it, this is not a mandatory condition.
'F*ck the patriarchy!' is a collectively created performance, in the spirit of inclusivity. We do not collaborate with individuals who have openly exclusionary views, are known for statements that exclude certain social groups, or any violent behaviors.

Madame Q is a unique place on the cultural map of Warsaw. A stage, vegan cocktail bar, burlesque school, center for body positivity and equality education. We have been doing burlesque for years. We were the first in this field in Poland. Since 2017 we finally have our own place!
