Uada will embark on the A Decade of Reflective Divinations Tour in the autumn - a jubilee, European tour, accompanied by their compatriots Ghost Bath and Cloak. The lineup of 3 bands, each presenting a different face of American black metal, will be seen on November 6 at Kwadrat in Krakow, the next day at Proxima in Warsaw, and on November 8 at 2Progi club in Poznan! Hailing from Portland, Uada celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, during which time the group has gained many fans, but has also faced clear criticism. However, polarization of opinions is a completely natural phenomenon, especially in the case of well-performing bands. Uada is one such band - an extremely hard-working lineup that stormed onto the extreme metal scene with the release of their debut 'Devoid of Light' and has maintained a strong position to this day. The discography of the melodic black metallers is closed by the album 'Crepuscule Natura', released in 2023 through the Eisenwald label. Ghost Bath perfectly aligned their music at a time when the mix of depressive black metal with shoegaze and post-metal, also represented by them, was gaining popularity on the wave of Deafheaven's 'Sunbather' success. In April 2015, led by Dennis Mikula, the band shared their breakthrough album 'Moonlover', which was the first part of a trilogy continued on the albums 'Starmourner' (2017) and 'Self Loather' (2021). The group is working on new material and it is very possible that we will hear a large part of it at the concerts in November. American Cloak explores the boundaries between melodic black/death metal and gothic. But to not mislead you - the group does it in their own way, as evidenced by their third album 'Black Flame Eternal', released last year.
