Koszyki welcomes a project that draws listeners into the cold, analog world of electronic music inspired by the 1980s and 1990s. Zima Stulecia – the duo of Latarnik and Cancer G (EABS, Błoto) – creates music that sounds like a lost soundtrack from a faded VHS tape: cold, synth-driven, and full of cinematic tension. This is electronic music where techno, house, and improvisation meet, with echoes of pirate recordings, first screenings of cult action films, and the unsettling mood of Twin Peaks when it was first broadcast in Poland. Latarnik and Cancer G have been collaborating since 2006 — they started out 800 km apart, and today they create projects that define a new direction on the Polish music scene. Zima Stulecia is their latest and most hypnotic musical universe. Join us and immerse yourself in this cool, analog sound — perfectly suited to the space of Muzyczny Pawilon 2.0. 🎵 January 25 (Sunday), 7:00 PM 📍 Hala Koszyki – Pawilon, Level +1 🎫 Tickets: https://link ___________ Muzyczny Pawilon is a concert series focused on presenting compelling artists from the worlds of alternative pop, hip-hop, broadly defined urban music, and young Polish jazz. The program is curated by saxophonist and music producer Kuba Więcek, known for moving fluently between genres and finding common ground among them. A winner of numerous music awards, including Paszport Polityki, Fryderyk, Onet’s Olśnienia, and Mateusz Trójki, he is a graduate of the Copenhagen Conservatory, founder of the band hoshii, and has released three original albums in the prestigious Polish Jazz series. The American magazine DownBeat lists him among the musicians who may influence the future sound of jazz. He is also the composer of the original score for Krzysztof Skonieczny’s film “Wrooklyn Zoo.” Concerts take place in the Pawilon space on the first floor of Hala Koszyki and are held every Sunday, twice a month.
