Minęło 6 lat od ostatniego albumu La Dispute „Panorama”. Od tamtego czasu ta post-hardcore’owa grupa z Michigan zmagała się z pandemiczną stagnacją, celebrowała 10-lecia płyt „Wildlife” i „Room Of The House”, rozpoczęła także prace nad nowym albumem „No One Was Driving The Car”. Ich piąte studyjne LP ukaże się we wrześniu 2025 roku i jest pierwszym w całości wyprodukowanym przez zespół grający w składzie: Jordan Dreyer - wokal, Brad Vander Lugt - perkusja, Chad Morgan-Sterenberg i Corey Stroffolino - gitary, Adam Vass - gitara basowa. Wydawnictwo powstawało w Grand Rapids, Detroit, Wielkiej Brytanii, Australii i na Filipinach. „Myślę, że te zmiany otoczenia były naprawdę pomocne we wnoszeniu nowego życia do procesu za każdym razem, gdy do niego wracaliśmy.” — mówi Dreyer.

It’s been six years since La Dispute released their last album, “Panorama”. Since then, the Michigan post-hardcore band—made up of Jordan Dreyer on vocals, Brad Vander Lugt on drums, Chad Morgan-Sterenberg and Corey Stroffolino on guitar, and Adam Vass on bass—dealt with the stagnance of the pandemic, celebrated the ten-year anniversaries of “Wildlife” and “Rooms Of The House”, and began working on “No One Was Driving The Car”. The fifth studio LP is the first entirely produced by the group, and it came together in Grand Rapids and Detroit, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Philippines: “I think the change in environment was really helpful to breathing new life into the process each time we came back to it,” Dreyer says.
