The wonderful Turkish visual artist Sevde Uçmak (@design.bysevdeucak) came to us and we invite you to the continuation of the Art of Sisterhood workshops. The workshops are free, registration is required: ✨ https://forms.gle/8Lw75xVxkUu3RXVD7 Portraits of Sisterhood – Illustration & Character Workshop 📅 October 20, 2025 | 3:00 – 5:00 PM “To see each other, to draw each other.” Are you ready to express yourself and those around you through drawing? In this workshop, we will explore the art of sisterhood while learning about portrait and character illustration. - Participants will learn facial proportions, light–shadow relationships, and the expressive power of faces. - By drawing each other’s portraits, they will experience the art of seeing, listening, and empathizing through visual expression. - Sometimes we’ll draw real portraits, sometimes inner characters — but every line will reflect the beauty a woman sees in another. Paint Your Own Story – Character & Visual Narrative Workshop 📅 October 22, 2025 | 3:00 – 5:00 PM “Every woman has a story to tell and a character to draw.” In this workshop, participants will create their own short story and design its main character. - Each person will produce a few pages of a personal mini book (or visual story). - The aim is to listen to our inner voice, embrace our own story, and express it through color and line. Healing Through Art: Nature-Inspired Art Therapy Workshop 📅 October 27, 2025 | 3:00 – 5:00 PM Are you ready to reconnect with yourself through nature’s guidance? In this session, we’ll bring art and nature together, embarking on an inner journey through color and form. - Participants will create their own brushes using natural materials (leaves, branches, grass, etc.) and paint their personal “tree pattern” guided by intuition and emotion. - We’ll begin with a short meditation — breathing and grounding in the present moment — then express our emotions through color, texture, and movement. The Sisterhood Journal: Hands That Create Together 📅 October 29, 2025 | 3:00 – 5:00 PM “Let’s write, draw, and bring together what we cannot always say.” This workshop combines personal expression with collective creation. - Women will first explore their stories, emotions, and strengths through writing and color. - Then, using acrylic techniques, they’ll paint these fragments onto a shared canvas — transforming them into a collective artwork inspired by “sisterhood.” - Words, lines, and colors will become a visual reflection of solidarity, compassion, and creativity. In the final Art of Sisterhood workshop of October, we’ll come together in a collaborative creation.
