“A w kominie szurum burum, a na polu wiatr do wtóru… Zielono mi”… “My first ball… a little regret, my first, my only ball”… “And I prefer my mom, who has hair like ink”… Almost everyone knows Osiecka's lyrics. But no one sings them like Basia Małecka! “Agnieszka” is a nu-jazz interpretation of eight songs, far from the original, stripped of theatrical dramatism and mannerisms. Basia's debut album combines jazz harmonies and laid-back vocals, and thanks to Jacek Piskorz's arrangements, the iconic songs of the poet have been drawn into the world of neo-soul. And since it’s been a year since the release of “Agnieszka,” and October is also Osiecka’s birthday month, we have a double reason to stage a performance featuring Basia Małecka. A performance where songs will intertwine with improvised scenes, poetry with comedy, and intimacy and melancholy will flirt with absurd humor and theatrical mischief. Basia Małecka – vocalist, composer, songwriter combining pop with elements of jazz and soul. Since October 2024, she has hosted her own music show on Program Trzeci Polskiego Radia. A graduate of the Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow. She releases her music independently. Singles from “Agnieszka” topped the Trójka Chart and were included in Marek Niedźwiecki’s compilation. In 2025, she is working on an album with London producer Aston Rudi (producer for Olivia Dean, Sophie Faith, and Ella Ingram).
