On November 29th, we invite you on a unique journey into the darkness – a solid dose of post-punk, darkwave, coldwave, and gothic rock that will revive your souls and bodies on the Metalcave dance floor! This evening will feature sounds from legends such as: - She Past Away - Joy Division - Boy Harsher - Molchat Doma - Siouxsie and The Banshees - The Cure - and many other artists who have shaped the history of the dark scene. Behind the console, you will hear: - Bismu – DJ and music producer, who for over a year has been running the "Night of Darkness" and "Dark Underground" event series in Lublin, presenting the darkest varieties of alternative music. He is also active in Krakow at Confession Club, hosting the "Goth Night" series. He also produces music. In his work, he mixes post-punk, dark electro, as well as house and metal. A year ago, he released his first EP in post-punk and dark electro styles, which was appreciated by bands such as Cold Cave, Twin Tribes, and She Wants Revenge. Recently, he co-created a compilation of gothic covers of Mieczysław Fogg. Originating from Warsaw's Voodoo Club, known for the Gothic Fetish Night/It's ok to be Goth event series, a lover of broadly defined darkwave and vampire rock. In his sets, he loves to combine proven gothic rock classics with new, independent bands straight from the underground. According to him, music must be dark but lively, best served cold with a predominance of guitars and a touch of electronics.
