📅 On Friday, 27 February 2027 at 10:00 AM the final of the literary competition “Kraków–Old Town – news from courtyards, streets and nooks”, carried out in the edition under the slogan KRAKÓW MNIE RUSZA, will take place.
As part of the event we invite you to an author meeting with Bożena Boba-Dyga titled:
“Why do we need poetry?”
We will look for answers together to this provocatively posed question with the artist, whose life path from an early age led through various areas of art and science. Today Bożena Boba-Dyga works at the intersection of literature, visual arts, music and theatre, consistently proving that creativity knows no boundaries.
In the era of rapid development of artificial intelligence and huge competition from attractive hobbies and entertainments, the question arises:
does a word created by the human mind and dictated by the human heart still have value? Is it useful to us — beyond a school obligation?
After the discussion part a short artistic segment is planned, followed by the announcement of the competition results, presentation of prizes, distinctions and diplomas to the laureates of the literary competition “Kraków–Old Town – news from courtyards, streets and nooks” in the KRAKÓW MNIE RUSZA edition.
