We invite you to friendly basketball games (streetball) and a three-point shooting contest! On September 13th (Saturday), at the court on Emilii Plater Street 31, we will meet under the hoop to celebrate the premiere of "Season of Falling Stars" by Marcin Podolec. You don't need to be a basketball champion to join us; even schoolyard memories of backyard games are enough – but it's worth coming to see if the ball still bounces off the court the same way! We invite you to play in teams, participate in open three-point shots, and, of course, cheer! We'll be there with the Kultura Gniewu team, Marcin Podolec, and our comics! 📅 September 13th (Saturday) ⏰ 12:00-18:00 📍 Court at Emilii Plater Street 31, Warsaw Gather a team and join us: - Registration for three-person teams: [email protected] - Entry fee: 50 PLN per team (allocated for medical care) Event schedule: - 12:00 - event opening - 12:15-12:30 - team draw - 12:40-13:40 - elimination matches (16 teams) - 13:45-14:30 - quarterfinals (8 teams) - 14:30-15:00 - semifinals (4 teams) - 15:30-16:15 - three-point shooting contest - open to all participants - 16:30-16:45 - final - 17:00-18:00 - award ceremony and meeting with Marcin Podolec hosted by Agnieszka Obszańska The tournament will feature a musical backdrop provided by Gosia from Trailer Park Girls + Plus Haneczka. The event is co-organized by Kultura Gniewu and Komuna Warszawa.
