Event description: Connecting forces is a term derived from social neurobiology, referring to interpersonal relationships that create bonds - positively colored, based on trust, closeness, and mutual resonance. Connecting forces include attachment, friendship, love, but also processes that foster coexistence: education, cooperation, synchrony, imitation, identification. These forces are present not only in personal relationships but also in the formation of groups - those that work towards a common goal, based on cooperation and mutual understanding. But also those where connecting forces are distorted by fantasies, projections, mechanisms of splitting, and externalizing negative aspects "outside" the group. "Connecting Forces and Their Fate" - the title of our conference - aims to draw attention to these phenomena. We want to collectively examine how we cooperate, how we build interdisciplinary relationships, and how collaboration is possible between individuals and groups with different identities, sensitivities, or languages. This is an invitation to reflect on what connects us, what divides us, and what makes it possible for us to sometimes meet at a common table.
