City tour with a guide, including: Colosseum, Roman Forum (the heart of ancient Rome and former political, religious, and social center), Palatine Hill (one of Rome’s seven hills and the site of the oldest Roman settlement), Piazza Venezia and the Victor Emmanuel II Monument (you can go up and take the elevator to the viewing terrace – beautiful view), Piazza di Spagna and the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain. Hotel check-in, free time, overnight stay. 🗓️ 4.01.2026 Breakfast, excursion to Tivoli, a small, charming town located on the edge of the Sabine Hills east of Rome in the Aniene River valley. Tivoli’s history dates back to the 4th century BC and was home to wealthy Romans. Today, it is famous for its ancient monuments, gardens, and beautiful fountains. In Tivoli, we will visit, among others, Villa d’Este, a 16th-century residence with extensive gardens, fountains, and waterfalls – a masterpiece of architecture listed by UNESCO, and Villa Gregoriana – a park in the Aniene valley with a walking route overlooking numerous waterfalls, along the way we will encounter rock caves and ancient monuments. Return to Rome, free time, overnight stay. 🗓️ 5.01.2026 Breakfast, excursion to Castel Gandolfo, where we will tour the papal summer residence located by the turquoise Lake Albano. We will visit the Papal Palace, Barberini Gardens, and Belvedere. Return to Rome, free time, overnight stay. 🗓️ 6.01.2026 Breakfast, sightseeing in Rome with a guide: Vatican (St. Peter’s Square, St. Peter’s Basilica + optional climb to the dome), Castel Sant’Angelo and bridges over the Tiber, Piazza Navona – considered the most beautiful square in Rome with the Fountain of the Four Rivers, Campo de’ Fiori, Pantheon – the oldest building in Rome, Piazza Cavalieri di Malta and the famous "keyhole," and finally a moment of relaxation in Giardino degli Aranci, the Orange Garden.
