FMF International TV Series Gala

The White Lotus, Bridgerton, Yellowstone, The Penguin, Ripley and many more – during a spectacular concert at TAURON Arena Kraków we will be carried away by music from the most compelling series of recent years. We will hear suites composed especially for this occasion performed by outstanding artists under the baton of the distinguished conductor Dirk Brossé. It will be an unforgettable evening!

Popular TV series today abound with unforgettable soundtracks that greatly influence the phenomenon of these productions. To experience this music in the form it truly deserves, together with renowned composers we invite you to the largest entertainment hall in Poland. Artists from the Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Pro Musica Mundi Choir and the Boys’ and Girls’ Choir of the Krakow Philharmonic guarantee top-level performances. Moreover, wonderful soloists will appear on stage, and visuals displayed on a large screen will be an added attraction.

This will certainly be the only concert of its kind this season, but not the first in the festival’s history. The International TV Series Gala presented in 2015 took place when the prestige of film stories told in episodes was only beginning to grow. Today no one doubts that the best TV productions are a full-fledged branch of art and ambitious entertainment. Premieres of new seasons often attract more interest than cinema releases, and music for television productions is treated on par with that composed for the big screen. Streaming platform budgets allow composers to boldly use all performance means and explore new directions of development.

During the new edition of the International TV Series Gala we will present the freshest trends – from epic orchestral themes to intimate electronic sounds for series that in recent seasons have won broad public hearts. We do not forget Polish composers – we will hear music from Infamia (Łukasz Targosz/Wojciech Urbański), Spy/Master (Łukasz Targosz) and Piekło kobiet (Wojciech Urbański).
