SPOIWO returns to Warsaw!

After more than seven years since their last concert the band visits the Capital again. SPOIWO is a collective from Gdańsk creating music on the border of post‑rock, electronics and film music. Their debut album Salute Solitude (2015) was very well received — it combined walls of guitar sound with elements of ambient and film music, telling emotional, intense stories. The inspiration from cinema is visible not only in the musical layer but also visually; the video for “Skin” was directed by Kristof Brandl, and the visuals for “Years of Silence” were created by David Lindberg.
In 2021 SPOIWO released their second album Martial Hearts — a diary of changes, struggles and the band’s perseverance. The record explores electronics, introduces voice and words, shifting the emotional weight toward symbolism. After a four‑year hiatus the band returns to promote Martial Hearts.
SPOIWO has played over 100 concerts in 13 countries, performing with artists such as Explosions in the Sky, God is an Astronaut, Maybeshewill and SLEEP PARTY PEOPLE. The band also appeared at festivals: OFF Festival, Dunk! Festival, Bergmal, Vivid, Devilstone and Soundrive.

Midsommar
Midsommar returns to the stage after a period of silence, announcing their debut full‑length album “Unparalleled”. After several years of work the shoegaze quartet from Warsaw presents material that opens a new chapter in the band’s history. “Unparalleled” is an album about emotional immersion, solitude and spiritual drifting — suspended between silence and slow explosions.
Midsommar moves between shoegaze and dream pop, combining ethereal vocals with a dense, emotionally charged guitar layer. Their sound shows influences from Slowdive and Cocteau Twins and an atmosphere reminiscent of dark, oneiric images in the spirit of “Twin Peaks”. The debut EP The Dream We Had and concerts at OFF Festival, Great September and Soundrive Festival cemented Midsommar’s place on the Polish alternative scene.
