SPOIWO returns to Warsaw!
Link to tickets: Link to tickets After more than seven years since their last concert the band visits the Capital again. SPOIWO is a collective from Gdańsk creating music at the crossroads of genres such as post‑rock, electronics and film music. The debut album 'Salute Solitude' (2015) was very well received by both the media and listeners; it combined guitar walls of sound with elements of ambient and film music, showing that the band can tell emotional, intense stories through sound. Inspiration from cinema is visible not only in the musical layer but also visually — the video for 'Skin' was directed by Kristof Brandl (who has collaborated with, among others, Skrillex and Jack White), and the visuals for 'Years of Silence' were made by David Lindberg.
In 2021 SPOIWO returned with their second album titled 'Martial Hearts'. The record is a diary of changes, struggles and the band's persistence — a portrait of the path traveled and a commentary on contemporary reality. The band for the first time reaches for previously unused means: they exploit electronics, introduce words and voice, dampen the previous explosiveness of compositions and shift the emotional weight from expressiveness to symbolism. After a four‑year hiatus the band returns to promote 'Martial Hearts'.
SPOIWO played over 100 concerts in 13 European countries. They have performed alongside artists such as:

Midsommar
Midsommar returns to the scene after a period of silence, announcing their debut long‑play album 'Unparalleled'. After several years of work the Warsaw quartet reminds listeners of themselves with material that opens another chapter in the band's history. 'Unparalleled' is an album about emotional immersion, loneliness and spiritual drifting in troubled times — suspended between silence and slow explosions.
Midsommar moves on the border of shoegaze and dream pop, combining an ethereal, hypnotic vocal with a dense, emotionally saturated guitar layer. In their sound you can hear inspirations from Slowdive and Cocteau Twins as well as an atmosphere known from dark, oneiric images in the spirit of 'Twin Peaks'. The new material is a more melancholic, sincere and affecting take on shoegaze sound.
The band was formed in 2019. Singles 'Soft', 'Persephone' and 'Summer’s Over' have appeared on Antyradio, Radio 357, Trójka and Czwórka PR and landed on Spotify playlists 'Alternatywna Polska' and 'New Music Friday Polska'. The debut EP 'The Dream We Had' (2021) and concerts at OFF Festival, Great September and Soundrive Festival consolidated Midsommar's position.
