“More Than a Heart Attack” is a nationwide cardiology conference aimed at medical students, interns and resident doctors.

Participation in the conference is free and requires prior registration.

During the full-day meeting, participants can join a series of lectures and workshops on key topics in modern cardiology. Topics will include, among others:

• heart failure
• chronic coronary syndromes
• other current challenges in cardiology in everyday clinical practice

Speakers include experienced experts from leading centers in Poland, including prof. dr hab. n. med. Paweł Balsam, prof. dr hab. n. med. Marcin Grabowski, prof. dr hab. n. med. Jarosław Drożdż and other recognized specialists who will share their experience and views on the future of modern cardiology.

Alongside the lecture part, practical workshops will be an extremely important element of the event. Participants will be able to improve skills such as:

• transthoracic echocardiography
• POCUS
• ECG interpretation
• communication with the patient and patient-based learning
• ALS training
• sessions dedicated to elements of interventional cardiology

The conference is an opportunity to develop clinical skills, prepare for further specialist training and expand knowledge useful on shifts and in everyday practice.

It is also a community — a meeting place for people passionate about medicine: a space for learning, discussion, inspiration and building professional relationships.
