I invite you to a collage course for adults – a space for creative time, experimentation, and developing imagination. Collage is an accessible and very open art form – it does not require prior experience, but offers great freedom of self-expression. During the series of meetings, we will learn various collage techniques, discuss composition rules, working with color, and try creating collages inspired by photography, words, or geometry. No prior experience is required – openness and willingness to create are what matter. PROGRAM AND TOPICS: - How to do it? Rules of composition and combining colors - Collage with classics – reinterpretation of famous paintings (e.g. Mona Lisa) - Monochromatic – one color, many shades - Textures – working with materials of different textures - Geometric collage – compositions based on forms and shapes - Hidden messages in collage – work inspired by words and quotes - Old photographs – new stories - Seasonal collages: Christmas / Halloween - We will also find space for topics proposed by participants – individual ideas, shared inspirations, or materials brought from home can become the beginning of unique works. Each work goes into a sketchbook, which at the end of the semester becomes a personal chronicle of creative development. I am fascinated by observing the world – both through a microscope and through the lens of artistic creativity. Collage has become a way for me to combine these two perspectives: it is a technique that allows me to give new meaning to old engravings, refresh forgotten illustrations, and tell stories anew. I have experience leading workshops for children and adults – I know how important it is to create a space where everyone can feel comfortable and creative. That is exactly what I strive to provide during my classes.
