Charismatic frontman and vocalist, an authentic legend of Polish rock and an icon of the 1980s — Krzysztof “Jary” Jaryczewski, together with his band, invites you to unique concerts under the banner “AKUSTYCZNIE+”. This is a dream tour for both the artists and the audience. During the meeting, performers and listeners alike travel together through the exquisitely arranged world of sounds known from the biggest hits of “Oddział Zamknięty” (“Obudź się”, “Ten wasz świat”, “Andzia”, “Debiut”, “Party”) as well as other compositions by Krzysztof “Jary” Jaryczewski (from his solo albums), all presented in a special setting — accompanied by the acclaimed Piotr Steczek string quartet.
Krzysztof “Jary” Jaryczewski — a legend of Polish rock and an icon of the eighties — frontman, lyricist and the voice of “Oddział Zamknięty”, with whom he launched all the greatest hits of the now cult band. Apart from his solo work and his activity with the band “Jary Oddział Zamknięty”, he has collaborated or still collaborates with a number of friendly artists — Artur Gadowski, Lady Pank, Urszula and Sławomir Łosowski. Last year a book collecting excellent reviews was published, titled “Byłem w Piekle” (author Kamil Wicik), in which Jaryczewski speaks candidly about his turbulent life and the behind-the-scenes of “Oddział Zamknięty”.
Piotr Steczek — composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist. For many years a leading musician of the excellent AUKSO chamber orchestra. Author of numerous musical projects, including the prestigious Chopin Odyssey. He has collaborated with John Greenwood, Krzysztof Penderecki, Tomasz Stańko, Michał Urbaniak, Leszek Możdżer and Stanisław Soyka. On the rock stage he has worked with, among others, Myslovitz, Urszula, Sebastian Riedel, Artur Rojek and John Porter.
