We invite you to a full-day gathering filled with handicrafts, creativity and communal knitting in a friendly atmosphere!

Workshop program | 11:00–16:30

• Workshops run in parallel:

  - Macramé plant holder – instructor: Ola
  - Beaded bracelet – instructor: Emilia
• 14:00–16:30
  - Kimekomi Easter egg – instructor: Bogusia
  - Dry felting – instructor: Agnieszka

Additional activities (11:00–16:30)

• Learn the basics of crocheting by making granny squares that will become cushion covers for the CPK garden.
• Create crocheted flowers that will decorate the lanterns in the CPK garden.

For children from 8 years old:

• Pom-pom making workshops.
• Learning to crochet a chain to which flowers and pom-poms will be attached; the resulting garlands will decorate the garden lanterns.

All prepared decorations are intended for World Wide Knit in Public Day, which this year falls on June 13, 2026 and will take place in the CePeKu garden.

The event is accompanied by a fair of handcrafted products made by the group: meetings of crochet and knitting enthusiasts operating for 3 years at the Centrum Promocji Kultury.

Day finale

⏰ 17:00 – free knitting film screening, limited seating
Film title: Chocolat, dir. Lasse Hallström, 2000 (screening with voice-over)
A ticket to the screening is having a crochet hook or knitting needles and yarn with you.
The screening will be brighter than at traditional screenings; we encourage bringing small lights for more comfortable crafting!

We invite everyone – beginners and advanced, adults and children – to create together and spend the day in a creative atmosphere!
