Creator of the youth musical "Kongo", author of two solo albums: the instrumental "Szmeterlingi" and "W poszukiwaniu (bez)sensu", which, alongside deeply rooted blues-rock guitar sounds, mandolins, and other electric and acoustic instruments, features moving lyrics expressing opposition to a culture of humiliation and violence, but above all, seeking the truth about a person in their personal relationship with themselves. On November 21, a new solo album titled "Bohater" will be released: positive, optimistic, but still with a strong existential reflection, musically with a clear touch of soul and funk, a sound determined by a dynamic brass section appearing as guests. This album, as well as the next two ("Królowa Śniegu" 2006, "RED SQL" 2009), are attempts to bring the new wave aesthetic into the 21st century. The band's music has always remained in the cold wave zone and the lyrics have a rather gloomy tone. The initial sound and the first album from the band's second era were characterized by the minimalism of the 1980s new wave. Over time, Cytadela's music has become richer, which, as with other bands of this type (see Siekiera), has not always pleased orthodox new wave fans.
