Description:

Musical pieces are interwoven here with texts that build a story about love, happiness and dramas. Besides Edith Piaf's great hits, you can hear well-known songs from the repertoire of, among others, Yves Montand, Charles Aznavour, Georges Moustaki and Gilbert Bécaud. The songs performed by the vocalists will be sung in French and in Polish, in solo versions and in duets. An undeniable asset of the concert are the new, interesting arrangements by Mariusz Dubrawski that refer to the tradition of French song.

About the artists:

Justyna Bacz and Chris Schittulli have numerous artistic projects related to French and Polish song, building bridges between the two cultures. Their concerts are highly regarded by audiences and critics. Justyna Bacz created and directed concert-plays, including “Dalida – the song of love” and “Femmes, that is women”, which premiered at the Kamienica Theatre in Warsaw.
