About the event
We invite you to Saturday workshops at Kamień!
Winter by the Vistula is a time of extraordinary phenomena and hidden adventures playing out among snow, ice and bare tree branches. Although the landscape may seem calm and quiet, animal life pulses constantly here — full of challenges and survival strategies.
During the workshops:
- We will learn about the winter world of Vistula riverside species and discover how different animals cope with the winter challenge.
- We will explain where they get food, what adaptations allow them to survive the toughest weeks of the year, and what unusual “adventures” they may encounter during this harsh season.
- There will be intriguing facts, curiosities and natural anecdotes showing that each species has its own winter strategy.
- In the practical part, using knowledge and field observations, we will make winter puzzles.

The Kamień Educational Pavilion is architecturally accessible. Events take place on the ground floor or in the area around the pavilion. The building has an accessible toilet for people with disabilities, which also includes a changing table. The other toilet has a pink box available. There is no sign language interpreter or assistant available. Parking with a space for people with disabilities is available.
