Exhibition of works by students of the Landscape Architecture program at Warsaw's SGGW "Natural Intelligence" Nature. Community. Future. Sacrum. Profanum. Light. Senses. Mind. Tradition. Place identity. Genius Loci. The projects presented at the "Green is Life" exhibition showcase a wide spectrum of creative activities and multidimensional aspects of landscape architecture. Most of them are the results of diploma, engineering, and master's theses by students of the Landscape Architecture program, as well as works created as part of the Urban Landscape Design course at the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Each of the works selected for the "Green is Life" exhibition demonstrates the profound influence of nature on design and human experiences. They emphasize solutions that integrate nature with urban spaces, supporting the senses and promoting the mental well-being of residents and users. The presented projects reflect an innovative approach to light in the landscape—showing how it can harmonize with natural forms, creating dynamic and inspiring spaces. At the same time, they focus on fostering social relationships by designing environments that encourage bonding and sharing experiences amidst natural beauty. All the works share a vision of a positive future inspired by the aesthetics of Solarpunk. In this vision, lush greenery and sustainable practices intertwine to create vibrant urban landscapes. These projects are proof that "we cannot invent anything more innovative than nature itself," drawing from its intelligence to inspire harmonious coexistence with our planet.
