At Murowanka, history returns through memory, traces and the questions we carry within us.
We invite you to a genealogy workshop where we will look at the past as a tree — with roots, branches and stories recorded in faces, documents and photographs. This meeting is for those who want to begin their genealogy journey, organize family stories or try to find missing links between “then” and “now”.
We will talk about how to search for ancestors, where to look, how to read archives and how to build a coherent story of your origins from fragments of memories. In the spirit of Murowanka — calmly, attentively and with respect for the history of ordinary people, because it is from such stories that Wawer’s memory is made.
These are workshops that not only teach but also move — because each of us is someone’s continuation.
