    O wydarzeniu

    Another special meeting in Kraków!

On February 11 (Wednesday) at 6:00 PM at the Polska Akademia Umiejętności premises there will be the next event in the “Conversations about Man” series.

The guest of the meeting will be Tomasz Stawiszyński – essayist, writer, philosopher, author of bestselling books: “Exercises with Dissonance”, “What to Do Before the End of the World”, “Escape from Helplessness”, “The Owl’s Mission. Tosia, Franek and the Secrets of Philosophy”, “Meeting with Philosophy”, “Rules for Times of Chaos”, “The Return of Fate” and “Skirmishes with Freud. Myths, Temptations and Traps of Psychotherapy”. On TOK FM radio he hosts “The Hour of Philosophers”; he is the creator of the “Skądinąd” podcast and a regular columnist for “Tygodnik Powszechny”.

    Topic of the conversation:
“Fate, chaos, dissonance – how to survive without going mad?”

The starting point for the discussion will be three notable books by the author – Exercises with Dissonance, The Return of Fate and Rules for Times of Chaos – forming an intellectual trilogy about uncertainty, a crisis of meaning and the search for inner balance in a world full of contradictions.
