During the presentation, we will combine a passion for gaming with a passion for DevOps and test live the possibility of streaming a sample game directly from the cloud. We will overcome challenges related to low latency and the rapid influx of new players. Ultimately, we will also find out whether K8S truly works for such solutions and whether it can actively support other tasks requiring graphic processors. Jakub Zięba - Senior DevOps Specialist at PwC Poland. A long-time fan of Linux, monitoring, and automation, and recently - an open-source AI enthusiast. In his free time, an avid gamer of all kinds, both digital and analog. *** Lightning Talk: TBA - Mariusz Rybusiński *** Presentation #2: “Warsaw Meshtastic Network Under the Microscope” - Mateusz Nalewajski Meshtastic is a popular open-source project aimed at creating an independent (off-grid) radio network using inexpensive devices that utilize LoRa (Long Range) modulation in the publicly available 868 MHz band for text communication. The software enables reporting messages and telemetry to the Internet via dedicated nodes using an MQTT queuing solution, allowing for quick network monitoring akin to the IT world. In addition to an introduction to the Meshtastic project, the presentation will showcase the mechanism for processing data from Meshtastic packets using the Prometheus/Thanos stack and selected metrics and visualizations in Grafana to assess several parameters of the Warsaw network. Mateusz Nalewajski - started at PwC conducting application security tests and attack simulations. Currently leads the Polish Threat Defense team at PepsiCo, focusing on blue team activities and incident response automation. In his free time, he is passionate about radio communication, DIY electronics, embedded systems, Linux, and cycling. Rules for SO/DO MeetUps: https://bit.ly/RegulaminSODO
