We are back with our multi-religious walks around Warsaw! Strolling through the streets of our city, see the beauty of centuries-old coexistence in the capital of various religious traditions: Catholic, Jewish, Protestant, Orthodox, and Muslim. The walking route "Through the Multi-Religious Warsaw in the Cradle of the City" was developed for us by the excellent Varsavianist Jerzy S. Majewski, who will personally lead the walk. 📅 September 28 ⏰ 11:00 AM 👤 Jerzy S. This walk runs from the New Town, along the Royal Route through old Warsaw, Podwale, and Miodowa, all the way to Castle Square. We will visit the oldest, still Gothic, churches of Warsaw, pass by monasteries of various orders: Franciscans, Dominicans, Paulines, Jesuits, and Augustinians, but also discover places associated with the Orthodox faith, Warsaw Protestants, the Greek Catholic Church, and finally the Jewish world, searching for its traces both in the area of Franciszkańska and Świętojerska streets, as well as in the Old Town, from where they were removed as early as the 16th century.
