We invite you to participate in the Library Futures Forum (Poland) – formerly a seminar in the series "Opening Science: Practice and Perspectives" – this year under the theme: Open to innovate! We will meet on October 23-24, 2025, in Warsaw. The event is co-organized by Elsevier and the Main Library of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. It will be an opportunity for the academic community to exchange experiences, views, and ideas on modern, accessible, and effective information infrastructure supporting the development of science. During previous seminars, the focus was on the role of open science in the academic community and society at large. In line with the seminar's theme of openness to innovation, key issues for the future of science and scientific information infrastructure will be addressed during the two days of discussions. Forum participants will strive to answer the question of how to build an open, flexible, and effective science ecosystem based on collaboration among scientists, librarians, administrators, and representatives of the university's business environment. This year's forum will focus on challenges related to implementing innovative solutions in science, and consequently, adapting libraries to dynamic technological and informational changes.
