    About the event

    FANTASY directed by Anna Karasińska

Anna Karasińska about the play: While working on the production, we focused on that specific activity of imagination that allows us to understand what other people feel, to feel connected with them and to see them in various situations — without judging / to see their point of view. One could say that in the theatre hall we organised a meeting of a certain number of people who, in other circumstances, would never meet, or would meet and not notice each other. It is hard to say that they are theatrical characters or that they are fictional persons. These people appear at the intersection of the imagination of the audience and the actors, affect one another, accompany one another and disappear. In the play we also observe the mechanism of actors taking on roles. We hope that in this meeting a certain feeling of closeness and joy arises and that the mechanism of selfless noticing of others and empathising with them can be "taken away" from the theatre by the spectator.
