“Baby, oh these babies…” What would Warsaw be without them? Throughout history, our capital has seen many remarkable figures, extraordinary women. Sometimes with incredible life stories, about which we often have no idea. Therefore, I invite you to a walk where I will introduce you to very interesting women, residents of Warsaw. If you want to find out: - what one of F. Chopin's sisters did, - how two women from Warsaw became pilots, - where the profession of midwifery was taught, - who was the founder of the Warsaw Photographic Society, - what the situation of servants was like in past centuries, - listen to stories about royal lovers… Then join the walk: 📅 06.09.2025, at 4:00 PM. 📍 Meeting point: in front of the Nicolaus Copernicus monument. 💰 Cost: Pay what you wish. ⏳ Duration: about 1.5 hours. The walk will be led by me – Aleksandra Wiak: a Warsaw guide, graduate of Varsavian studies, and author of the Facebook and Instagram profile: Around the Capital and the World. Dear tour participant: There are countless ways to reward your guide. A smile, loud applause, kind words. If you drop a few (or a dozen) zlotys into the hat, it will be awesome.
