OPEN CALL • Earth's Rotation Day • Call for projects for the Rotational House of Culture at Jazdów
Rotacyjny Dom Kultury na Jazdowie is an initiative operating at the intersection of Dom Kultury Śródmieście and Wolny Jazdów, creating a program in a unique, green urban space in Warsaw. We invite submissions of projects that carry out the goals and values of Dom Kultury Śródmieście and Wolny Jazdów.
- January 8–January 29 – submission period (we accept ideas until midnight on January 29)
- February 24 – announcement of results (note: if there is a very large number of submissions this date may change)
- March 21, 2026 – January 8, 2027 – project implementation
WHO WE ARE
Rotacyjny Dom Kultury is a branch of Dom Kultury Śródmieście at Wolny Jazdów. We operate in Warsaw. Dom Kultury Śródmieście is a municipal cultural institution promoting openness, diversity and ecological sensitivity. Entry to events at the Rotacyjny is free.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You can submit projects carried out individually or as a group — organizations, institutions, informal groups and private individuals.
Szczególnie interesują nas projekty podejmujące tematy:
- the role of cultural institutions
- community needs
- ecology and the climate crisis
- social responsibility
- the history of the place
- the role of fairy tales, imagination, poetry, magic and ritual
WHAT WE OFFER
- Free access to the Rotational House of Culture space
- Organizational and promotional support and curatorial guidance
Dom Kultury Śródmieście may cover part of the project costs (up to 800 PLN gross)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Maximum project duration: 30 days. Cyclical projects should be limited to a maximum of 3 meetings.
- Implementation details are arranged individually with the authors of selected initiatives; small modifications may be possible (e.g. project length).
HOW TO SUBMIT A PROJECT
- Familiarize yourself with our space and materials in the attachments on the website: in the attachments you will find a map, organizational information (FAQ and resource list), an empty application form and regulations.
- Prepare materials: Combine all materials into a single PDF file (max. 5 MB).
