Kamil Bednarek, vocalist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, has won the hearts of listeners in Poland, consistently developing his musical career since 2008. That was when the band Star Guard Muffin was formed, whose debut EP "Ziemia Obiecana" initiated the group's dynamic career growth. In 2010, Star Guard Muffin gained huge popularity thanks to Bednarek's participation in a TV talent show, and the debut album "Szanuj" quickly achieved double platinum status. A year later, the band took an inspiring trip to Jamaica, where at the legendary Tuff Gong studio they recorded the maxi-single "Jamaican Trip" with top Jamaican musicians such as Capleton, Dean Fraser, and The Tamlins. After personnel changes in 2012, the band BEDNAREK was born, releasing the highly acclaimed album "Jestem…". The album not only gained popularity but stayed on Polish charts for over a year and achieved diamond status. BEDNAREK continued its streak of success, winning, among others, the MTV Music Award for Best Central European Act in 2013. The following years brought intense artistic activity: - a live album from Przystanek Woodstock (2014) - the release of "Oddycham" with guest appearances by world reggae stars such as Alborosie and Junior Kelly (2015) - the solo project "TALIZMAN" (2017), which soon after its release achieved gold status - in 2018, Bednarek released the album "MTV Unplugged BEDNAREK", marking another step in his artistic development 2019 brought new challenges and projects, including the #bednarekinaczej project, which initiated Bednarek's collaboration with leading artists and musicians. As a result, the single "Bądź przy mnie" was created, which achieved gold status just two weeks after its premiere. Subsequent tracks such as "Momenty", "Wojownik Światła" and "Pull Up" were a prelude to the album "INACZEJ", released in 2021. Kamil Bednarek remains one of the most recognizable Polish reggae artists, whose work is constantly evolving, combining passion, authenticity, and modern sounds.
