Handmade Journal Workshop with Azalee

Join us to create your very own handmade A5 notebook over two fun and creative sessions! This workshop is all about hands-on making and playful experimentation. Step by step, we’ll prepare, print, and assemble your notebook. No experience needed!

• Workshop 1 – Covers & Page Prep
  Design your notebook cover using simple gelatin printing.
• Prepare the inside pages and make holes ready for sewing.
• Workshop 2 – Sewing
  Sew the prepared elements together in a relaxed, collective rhythm.
• By the end, you’ll take home your very own handmade A5 notebook.

About the instructor:
Azalee Bertheau is a 24-year-old French artist and European Solidarity Corps volunteer within the IntegrART9 project at Klub Kultury Przegorzały (2025/26). She loves multi-media, hands-on creation, and combining prints, collage, and handmade objects. Azalee guides participants through both technical and creative processes, encouraging experimentation and personal expression.

Create your own handmade A5 notebook. During the workshops we will prepare a unique notebook step by step. No prior experience required.

• Meeting 1 – Covers and page preparation

• We will prepare the inner pages and make holes for sewing.
• Meeting 2 – Sewing
  We will sew the prepared elements in a relaxing, collective rhythm.
• At the end of the classes the notebook will be ready to take home.
