This is a highly anticipated project that has become not only a musical challenge but also an emotional experience. The creation process was marked by the passing of Przemek Maciołek – co-founder and one of the pillars of the band. "This album is a record of the last moments we were fortunate to share with Przemek," the band members emphasize. Three out of ten tracks were created together with him during sessions in Poznań. The remaining tracks were completed with the support of friendly guitarists who built upon the musical sketches left by Przemek. The work on the album was unique. For the first time, Poluzjanci created material entirely as a band. The result is songs born during jam sessions at the Załuski studio surrounded by forests near Warsaw. "We met just to play, to release the sounds that accompanied us – from this came the songs we now present to our listeners," the musicians say. The lyrics, as always, were written by Janusz Onufrowicz, who has been collaborating with Poluzjanci for years. The new album is not just another chapter in the band's history but also a tribute to their shared passion and the indelible energy that has united the musicians for years. The album is promoted by the single "Kowbojski," which, in Poluzjanci's characteristic style, combines intimate lyrics with melodic sound. The track, with reflective lyrics about the fleeting nature of life and the search for meaning in everyday life, invites listeners to pause and view the world from a new perspective. For 2025, the band has planned seven concerts as part of the tour. This is a unique opportunity to hear Poluzjanci live! --- About the band --- Poluzjanci is a cult group, paradoxically called the most "known-unknown" Polish band, which has inspired and nurtured generations of young artists. After a six-year hiatus, the band returned to the stage during the Jazz Around Festival 2022, mesmerizing fans longing for their unique musical-visual atmosphere. Poluzjanci's style is a blend of the musical fascinations of its members, combining genres such as funk, soul, jazz, and even rock. The group was formed in 1995 when young students from the Jazz and Popular Music Department of the Academy of Music in Katowice decided to join forces. They have three albums to their name: "Tak po prostu," "Druga płyta," and "Trzy metry ponad ziemią," which have become staples of Polish popular music. The band suspended its concert activities in 2016 following the sudden death of the group's co-founder, guitarist Przemysław Maciołek. In 2022, Poluzjanci returned to the stage, and now – thirteen years after their last album – they present the long-awaited fourth record "4P." Work on the material began before the hiatus, but it has only now been completed. Poluzjanci's original sound is thanks to the outstanding musicians in the band and their distinctive compositions – mainly with lyrics by Janusz Onufrowicz. The premiere of "4P" is a symbolic tribute to the memory of Przemysław Maciołek and a herald of a new chapter in the band's history.
