Join the Urban Workshop project in Kamionek Join the group with which we have started work in Kamionek. We are currently in the first stage and photographing its inspiring places, architecture, and objects. WHAT IS THE PROJECT ABOUT? HOW LONG WILL IT LAST? The project runs until the end of September. We plan several meetings during the summer period, and the final dates of the meetings depend on you. Our workshop space and the place for presenting the results of the group's activities will be the pavilion of the Kamionek Local Center at the former Rogatka market. We will also work on the current market space, adding our own accents and actions, whose assumptions and scenarios we will develop together. You can join the workshop at any stage, but the earlier, the better. We will systematically inform you about subsequent activities. The workshop will conclude with a jointly prepared exhibition in the pavilion of the Kamionek Local Center at the former Rogatka market at the end of September. WHO WILL LEAD THE WORKSHOPS? The project is led by Krzysztof Żwirblis, associated with the historically significant Polish art group Academy of Movement. For over 20 years, he has been carrying out various socio-artistic actions (e.g., "Cheap Television," "Social Museum"), performative activities, and installations in the district.
