    About the event

Wsiebiewzięcie is a poetic-graphic project, a story about the coexistence of opposites, discovering meaning, and spiritual quests in a multi-layered world. The book contains poems by Pola Irkin - Jaroszewska illustrated by Kuba Sokólski. It is an invitation to immerse yourself completely in the poet's dream world, finding reflections of universal meanings and experiences along the way. It is a journey not to a distant Heaven, but inward, during which we lose and find ourselves, confront true and symbolic death, and are reborn in another form, touch hope and lose illusions, dance with the Shadow, and touch the mystical Light (which has many names) with a finger. We play with symbols (or perhaps they play with us?), not knowing where it will lead us, but we lie on the water and flow with the current. Let yourself be taken in. PROGRAM: - ☾ Conversation with Pola Irkin - Jaroszewska (moderated by Joanna Muller) - ☾ Exhibition of Kuba Sokólski's works illustrating the book - ☾ Poetry reading - ☾ Space for questions to the author - ☾ Opportunity to purchase the book with an autograph + illustrations as posters - ☾ Musical accompaniment - ☾ Something for the body: refreshments Grassroots initiative.
